Review

Celtic moved smoothly into the quarter finals without any trouble at Parkhead.

Bertie Auld showed great pace for a man said to be in the closing years of his career and Tommy Callaghan continued his fine run of form with another goal. Jim Craig showed that, on this form, he was the best overlapping full back in the country.

Evan Williams was a virtual spectator throughout and the Queens' goal came when Dempster headed in a corner from Murray.
