This game was played at Ibrox but was technically a Celtic home game. The main stand was being built at that time and Rangers objected to Hampden so big Jock called their bluff and we pumped them 3 times in a month at Ibrox !

To the best of my knowledge, Kenneth Matheson Dalglish only ever scored one penalty against Rangers at Ibrox, and this was it. On his OF debut, too! Celtic were 1-0 up and all over Rangers with 20 mins to go when keeper McCloy hauled Jinky down. McNeill tossed the ball to the 20-year old and he took the time to tie up his laces before sending the keeper the wrong way.
