Review
Celtic made a great start when Macari scored from a fine header after a perfect Murdoch free kick.
After this Celtic looked dangerous but Rangers equalised when they were awarded a penalty when Brogan handled in the box and Willie Johnston scored from the spot. Rangers took the lead after a bad blunder by Evan Williams when he dropped a Johnston shot at the feet of Stein who gleefully scored.
Callaghan was having a fine game and Dalglish equalised from his corner after McNeill had cleverly dummied the cross ball.
Conn was sent off for a second booking after fouling Callaghan and Stein had a goal disallowed for a high challenge on keeper Williams.
Celtic pressed for a winner and scored a dramatic last minute winner. Macari and Dalglish combined and Dalglish lobbed a high ball across goal where Johnstone managed to leap high above taller Rangers defenders and score with a looping header.
The Celtic fans celebrated noisily and their team had now beaten Rangers three times at Ibrox within a remarkable four week period.
