Review
Celtic's two goals were superb. Firstly, Connelly lobbed a ball into the box which Dalglish brilliantly controlled and fired past McRae. The second goal was even better, Lennox slipping a ball to Dalglish to take on the run and he cut the ball back superbly from the bye line for Deans to shoot into the net.
It took until the second half to pick the lock of the Motherwell defense who played with 9 men behind the ball and on the breakaway, but when the goals came in the second half they were worth the wait. Bobby Lennox was immense but if anything Celtic missed Murdoch.
