Review
New wingers Brian McLaughlin and Andy Lynch impress with Ally Hunter and Steve Murray as Celtic’s team changes face. However Bobby Lennox is the star turn with four great goals.
The first goal came with McLaughlin cutting the ball back from the bye-line for Dalglish to shoot home. Callaghan was brought down by Leishman for the penalty. Mclaughlin scored from a good solo effort having cut inside. lennox finished off the first half scoring. Despite being 4-0 down Dunfermiline had their moments in the first half and had hit the bar twice.
harry Hood came on for the second half. Lennox got his third goal with a header from a Lynch cross. Dunfermiline pulled a goal back through Nelson before Bobby Lennox scored his fourth just before the end.
