Review
Celtic won more easily than the scoreline suggests and the game was described as akin to a practice match.
The Danish crowd watched in respectful silence and there was little in the way of atmosphere.
In only 11 seconds Celtic had a scare when Markussen scored after a Connelly blunder but he was ruled offside.
Celtic then found their feet and Hay's chip into the net was disallowed for offside also.
Lennox gave Celtic a vital away goal after a Murray through ball had not been cleared by the Danes and Dalglish had a goal ruled out for offside just before half time.
In the second half only the Danish goalkeeper kept the score down with excellent saves from Murray and Dalglish. Celtic were calm and composed and saw the game through with Connelly composed in defence and Dalglish graceful in attack.
