Review
Celtic won narrowly at a jam packed Fir Park.
Deans grabbed the all important goal after Callaghan had ran to the bye line and crossed.
Celtic played cautiously with three central defenders, McNeill, Connelly and Brogan and this nullified the 'Well attack. Davie Hay was played in an attacking midfield role and had his best game for some time.
Late in the game Connaghan made a great save from a Goldthorp header and Dalglish hit the 'Well bar with a header also.
Celtic would go on to meet the winners of the replay between Dundee and Hibernian.
