Review
Celtic look disjointed for long spells but do enough to win. The experimetal offside rule clearly does not suit Celtic.
Nearly 30,000 turned up for the game and saw the Bhoys go 2-0 up at half time. Motherwell had contested well and were somewhat unlucky to be two down. Dalglish's opener was deflected past Rennie and Wilson's goal just before half time was strongly contested by the Motherwell players and Ian St John on the touchline when Wilson scored as Motherwell tried to sub Muir who was down and injured. Motherwell pulled a goal back after the interval
