Review
Sweet revenge in style for the loss at Celtic Park.
Jinky is on fire against Ayr scoring two great goals and laying on a third before going off subbed. As well as his trademark dribbling he is also industrious and hard working and he scores two headed goals.
Ayr led twice first through future Celt Johnny Doyle then took the lead again at 1-1 with a goal from Flemming but Celtic always looked likely score again.
Steve Murray is in the headlines with another great performance in midfield. Dalglish looked hungry. Connelly got through the game without breaking sweat and Paul Wilson chased everything… and then there was the magic of Jinky who wanted to be in on everything.
