Review

No one could foresee Celtic throwing a way a two goal lead in the second half. In two games against the bottom two clubs Celtic had thrown away points and handed the advantage to their arch enemies.
Two up at half time the points should have been in the bag. Harry Hood, who had a good first half , got the first. Dalglish set up Paul Wilson for a headed second goal flighting a ball in from a free kick.

Dumbarton, inspired by Willie Wallace, were deserving of their point and but for Hunter's saves could have won.
Young strikers John Bourke and Tom McAdam gave the Celtic defence a torrid time.

In contrast Ronnie Glavin failed to find his form and was looking less like the £80,000 player he had been at Partick Thistle.

At full time the Celtic fans let go a barrage of jeering.

These two draw put Rangers a point ahead in the league with a game in hand. Tweo wins would have put Celtic out in front an 10-in-a-row likely.
