Glavin scored in 90 seconds with a fine shot from 20 yards and Lynch scored with another fine drive from 25 yards approaching half time.
In the second half Edvaldsson scored with a header from a corner and several Hearts players escaped punishment from the referee after heavy challenges on Dalglish whose performance was described by one scribe as 'pure magic'..
