Review
Old foe Gordon Wallace gives United a deserved win. Only Latchford impresses for Celts and they lack strength in midfield and sharpness up front. Stein vows to make changes. United had the ball in the net twice more with goals ruled out for offside.
Dalglish was well policed and tracked by Narey. The Celtic defence found itself pulkled out of shape time and again and Stanton saw the game bypass him for much of the time. Wilson picked up and injury in the second half and was subbed.
