Review
On a miserable night both teams served up a great game. The game turned on Motherwell's equaliser when Marinello hit the wall with a poor free kick. Much to Celtic's annoyance the referee ordered it to be retaken, allowing Marinello to fire home a great shot. Marinello got the winner with a brilliant effort after beating three Celtic defenders in the process. Marinello, after his disappointing periods at Arsenal and Portsmouth was now hitting the heights again.
