Review
Ronnie Glavin hits his 1976/77 form again with two great goals to give Celts a two goal lead to take to Dens Park. However it was less than a vintage performance despite good showings from Glavin and Conn. Despite pressure in the first half they failed to score with Dundee packing the defense and Dundee also failed to take decent chances.
In the second half McAdam scored following up on a saved Edvaldsson shot. Dundee equalised after subbing Shirra for Lamb when Redford crossed for Sinclair to head home. But a two goal surge with Ronnie Glavin to the forefront saw Celtic through. HYe scored the second after a decent move with Filippi and provided the cross for McAdam to head home the third.
