Review
Burnley cash in on defensive blunders with two early goals. Despite intense pressure Celtic couldn't get the goals they needed.
With 20 minutes gone Roy Aitken brought down Leighton James on the edge of the box. He tapped the free to Brennan who hit the ball into the corner of the net. A further defensive mishap between Aitken and McGrain saw Kindon nip the ball past Latchford to make it 3-0 down on aggregate. Requiring four goals now, Celtic threw everything at Burnley but could only get a penalty when Conn was pulled down in the area.
