Review
Celtic get a deserved win at Firhill with a winner in the last 18 minutes after constant pressure of the Jags goal and steadfast work by Rough to keep them at bay. McAdam was solid in his new position and MacLeod was super industrious in midfield.
Thistle got the first goal when a long clearance reached Melrose who went in one-on-one with Latchford and the ball came of his body to Somner who neatly tucked the ball away. From the restart Celtic charged into the attack and never let up. The equaliser came from Provan who shot from the edge of the box. Rough was called on to make save after save to keep the scoreline level. Davidson had the ball in the net on 69 minutes only to be ruled out for offside. But the winner came just after when Provan's corner was headed back into goal by McAdam and McCluskey was there to shoot home.
