Review

Tommy Gemmell’s Dundee disappoint the crowd with their defensive, spoiling tactics.
Johnny Doyle pulled up with a hamstring injury in the 6th minute and went off to be replaced by supersub Bobby Lennox.
For Dundee McGeachie, Fletcher and McLaren were booked with McLaren eventually getting a straight red. Provan was booked for Celtic for retaliation after a foul on him
Murdo MacLeod scored his second penalty of the week to open the scoring when Danny McGrain was brought down in the area.
Tom McAdam got the second heading home a Provan free kick. With 8 minutes left McAdam added the third

Provan is the best crosser of a ball in the country and many goals are coming from his deliveries.
