Review
This game was fortunate to have gone ahead because of the sub zero temperatures and icy pitch.
With the game poised at 1-1 Celtic scored when Sullivan ran over the bye line but came back on and scored in an offside position. The goal was given by referee Cuthill and the Morton players protested bitterly.
Morton's consolation was that they scored the goal of the game through young Tolmie.
