Mo Johnston made his debut for Celtic against a resilient Hibernian side that frustrated the home-side for large spells of this game, it took a penalty from Peter Grant with 18 minutes left to break the deadlock, Tommy Burns added another 10 minutes later and substitute Brian McClair wrapped up the win with a goal in 88 minutes.
