- This match was abandoned after 45 minutes due to pitch conditions. The ground was frozen but the top had started to thaw.
- It was impossible to get a grip on the surface in either flat soled boots or studs and with players slipping and falling all over the place the game was abandoned at half time. By that time Celtic were four goals up.
