Review
One of the best matches of the season, with Celtic somehow trailing by two goals going into the final 15 minutes despite pummelling Hearts for most of the match. The referee, George Cumming, was a former Partick Thistle player and gave one of the worst refereeing displays seen in years. He would later be put in charge of training referees.
Andy Walker pulled one back for Celtic from the penalty spot before Paul McStay scored a glorious equaliser three minutes from the end.
