Review
Defences well on top in this match with Pat Bonner making some tremendous stops, while Leighton, Miller and McLeish were immense for Aberdeen. Joe Miller gave David Robertson the runaround in the first half, but in a tactic that was to become very familiar over the coming weeks and months, they doubled up on him in the second half which reduced his effectiveness thereafter.
