Trivia

  • An crazy plan to buy Wimbledon and move to England was splurged by the Press. This turned out to be a complete concoction in the mind, allegedly, of Lou Macari and the Daily Record.

  • Manager Interview

Tommy Burns, post match:
"Malky MacKay was an important player for us, especially the way Dunfermiline play. McStay was outstanding and shows a great attitude in everything he does."

"Our attitude was spot on. We knew that Dunfermiline could make things difficult and I thought we matched them for endeavour.
"When we fell 14 points behind after the Old Firm game everyone said it was the end of the world.
"But the players deserve great credit for what they have achieved since then.
"Some of the football hasn't been particularly good to watch but they have hung in there and shown that they are prepared to battle and scrap."
