Review
Celtic started the brighter of the two sides and Larsson should have done better in the eighth minute when Moravcik curled in a dangerous cross for the Swede to head wide. Minutes later Dunfermline goalkeeper Marco Ruitenbeek had to get down well to deny Moravcik when the Slovak hit a right-foot shot on the turn from Joos Valgaeren's pass.
Moravcik tried his luck in the 23rd minute with an adventurous right-foot shot which flew just over the bar but a minute later Celtic did score with the simplest of goals.
Alan Thompson curled in a dangerous corner and an unmarked Ramon Vega headed easily in to the empty Dunfermline net from all of five yards.
Six minutes later though Celtic keeper Robert Douglas was guilty of gifting the visitors a leveller. Douglas was rooted to the spot as Hampshire bumped a hopeful ball downfield which eluded Neil Lennon. Scott Thomson lobbed the hesitant keeper with a deft flick of his boot.
Johnson almost restored Celtic's lead when he burst in to the box but Ruitenbeek saved low to deny him.
Celtic came out for the second half with more urgency and regained their lead in the 49th minute from another corner. This time Moravcik delivered a cross to the far post for Vega to head home with the hint of a deflection from Thomson. Celtic doubled their lead when Larsson went down under the challenge of Skerla. The Swede stepped up himself for the penalty to blast in his 41st goal of the season.
In the 73rd minute Larsson was on hand again to convert another penalty-kick for Celtic's fourth and his second of the night as they booked their place in the quarter-finals.

Ramon Vega and Henrik Larsson both netted braces as Celtic swept past Dunfermline to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup and a home tie with Hearts.
The visitors had managed a first-half equaliser from Scott Thomson to cancel out Vega's early header but in the second-half the result was in little doubt for Martin O'Neill's league leaders.
Dunfermline were given little hope after the three-goal home league defeat they suffered at the hands of Martin O'Neill's men on Saturday.
Celtic were without Chris Sutton, who suffered shoulder damage at East End Park, so Tommy Johnson took his place alongside Henrik Larsson.
Bulgarian midfielder Stilian Petrov and Paul Lambert were rested with Lubo Moravcik and Jackie McNamara coming in to the side.
Dunfermline manager Jimmy Calderwood made three changes with Michael Doesburg, Steven Hampshire and Chris McGroarty coming in for Justin Skinner, David Moss and Marinus Dijkhuizen.
Dangerous
The home side started the brighter of the two teams and Larsson should have done better in the eighth minute when Moravcik curled in a dangerous cross for the Swede to head wide.
Minutes later Dunfermline goalkeeper Marco Ruitenbeek had to get down well to deny Moravcik when the Slovak hit a right-foot shot on the turn from Joos Valgaeren's pass.
Ruitenbeek was again called to hand in the 18th minute to save Didier Agathe's powerful 22-yard effort.
Moravcik again tried his luck in the 23rd minute with an adventurous right-foot shot which flew just over the bar but a minute later Celtic did score with the simplest of goals.
Dunfermline were nearly caught out in the 40th minute though. Larsson broke down the left and unselfishly squared to Johnson but his poor left foot shot was comfortably saved.
Urgency
Celtic came out for the second half with more urgency and regained their lead in the 49th minute from another corner.
This time Moravcik delivered a cross to the far post for Vega to head home with the hint of a deflection from Thomson.
At the other end Agathe proved the unlikely hero to clear Youssef Rossi's header off the line then Douglas parried a fierce Thomson effort and Valgaeren cleared.
But it was Celtic who doubled their lead when Larsson went down under the challenge of Skerla. The Swede stepped up himself for the penalty to blast in his 41st goal of the season.
In the 73rd minute Larsson was on hand again to convert another penalty-kick for Celtic's fourth and his second of the night as they booked their place in the quarter-finals.
