Review
Tommy Johnson put Celtic ahead after 6 minutes, poking the ball past Langfield, who was a late substitution for Marco Roccati, who got injured in the pre match warm up. Johnson's goal came from a cross by Larsson after Thompson's long ball found the Swede in space. Langfield had already made a couple of saves from Lubo Moravcik and Johan Mjallby.
Dundee were under constant pressure in the first half, but Caniggia was in the middle of any counter attacks.
Larsson won a 50-50 challenge in the Dundee box and the ball fell perfectly for Tommy Johnson, but he miskicked and the chance to add to his earlier strike had gone.
Dundee won a corner, but Caniggia rose to header across goal and wide of the post.
Agathe, then beat Marrocco and Garrido, on the right, and his cross found Moravcik who blazed the ball over the bar. At the other end, Sara, tried an overhead kick that was deflected for a corner.
Caballero, who replaced Caniggia after the interval, almost scored immediately, Caballero raced down the right wing and it took Douglas, in the Celtic goals, to scoop up the ball beforeCaballero could get to it.
Garrido then fired in a shot which Douglas did well to tip round the post.
Dundee were by now taking command and Nemsadze's cross found Sara who slid the ball past Douglas for Dundee's desreved equaliser.
Celtic reacted and with time running out they threw Mjallby up front, and when Larsson sent him through on goalhe was pulled back by Smith, just outside the penalty box. Smith was sent off and Thompson hit the post from the resultant free kick.
Celtic then forced two corners and from the second, after a scramble at the back post, Mjallby forced the ball over the line for Celtic's winner and Celtic Park erupted.

Celtic 2-1 Dundee
A late scrambled goal by Johan Mjallby gave Celtic the victory which keeps them on course to lift the Scottish Premier League trophy on Saturday.
Tommy Johnson put the home side in front in six minutes, poking the goal past goalkeeper James Langfield, who was a late replacement after first choice Marco Roccati injured himself in the warm-up.
Dundee were well on top in the second half, though, and scored a deserved equaliser through Juan Sara.
But minutes after Barry Smith was sent off for a professional foul on Mjallby, the big Swede was on hand to sweep home the winner.
Johnson's goal came from a Henrik Larsson cross after Alan Thompson's long ball found the Swede in space.
Langfield had already made saves from Lubo Moravcik and Mjallby.
Dundee were under the cosh in the first half but Claudio Caniggia was at the centre of most of their counter-attacks.
Larsson won a 50-50 challenge in the box and the ball fell perfectly for Johnson in front of goal but the striker miskicked completely and the chance was gone.
A Dundee corner saw Caniggia rise to flick a header across goal and wide.
Didier Agathe beat Marcello Marrocco and Beto Garrido down the right and his cross found Moravcik on the edge of the area but, with all the goal to aim at, he blazed over.
At the other end, Sara's overhead shot was deflected away for a corner.
Fabian Caballero, on for Caniggia at half-time, almost pounced immediately.
Javier Artero raced down the right and it needed Rob Douglas to lurch forward and thrust out a hand to scoop up the ball before Caballero could get there.
Beto Garrido fired in a shot from outside the area that needed Douglas to tip round the post.
Dundee were on top by now and Nemsadze's lofted ball through a static Celtic backline allowed Sara to poke past Douglas from close range for the equaliser.
Celtic threw Mjallby up front and with time running out Larsson sent him through only for the big Swede to be hauled back by Barry Smith just before he reached the area.
Smith was duly sent off and Thompson hit a post from the free-kick.
Celtic forced two corners and from the second, following an almighty back-post scramble, Mjallby forced the ball in.
Celtic Park erupted and the title will belong to the Hoops on Saturday if they beat bottom club St Mirren.
