Review
A game of two halves bizarrely. We totally controlled the first game but made little of the second half allowing poorly hamilton a chance to steal points off us. The weather was attrocious (torrential rain) but the play was still quite fair. Mowbray acted tough and dropped Brown; Boruc was out injured. Interesting hard decision which his predecessor was loathe to do with any of his favourites.
First half with two goals with maloney scoring with a scissor kick from a great cross by Hinkel. Skippy added a second to get the pressure off him from some sections with Samaras partly involved in the goal.
Second half and little good to say. We sqaundered our advatage and let hamilton in who scored from some action from a set piece. They were unfortunate not to get the second they almost derserved following a cracking save from golie Zaluska.
We've got to start picking up our act. We're back on top as huns dropped pts to Hibs at home, but on this form we'll be dropping pts more than we should also.

Hamilton 1-2 Celtic
BBC
By Martin Conaghan
Celtic returned to the top of the Scottish Premier League table with a hard-fought victory over Hamilton.
Shaun Maloney's scissor-kick in the 15th minute gave the visitors the lead after a drab opening period.
Celtic doubled their lead after 29 minutes when Scott McDonald fired past keeper Tomas Cerny from close range.
Mickael Antoine-Curier grabbed a consolation for Hamilton in the 83rd minute when he flicked home James McArthur's shot but Celtic held on.
Lukasz Zaluska replaced the injured Artur Boruc in goal for the visitors, while Hamilton manager Billy Reid kept faith with the side that drew with Dundee United last week.
Following a dreary opening 15 minutes, the match sparked into life with a well-worked move orchestrated by Celtic defender Andreas Hinkel down the right-hand side.
The German crossed for Maloney to attempt a scissor-kick from six yards, and he arrowed a shot past Cerny to open the scoring.
Hamilton responded with Antoine-Curier going close with a 30-yard drive which was well held by Zaluska.
Moments later, Simon Mensing looked to take advantage of some sloppy Celtic defending but he blasted a right-foot shot from the edge of the box over the bar.
Gary Caldwell's clever pass from the half-way line sent Aiden McGeady free and he crossed for China captain Zheng Zhi but he sent his shot over the bar.
Hamilton's defence was left standing in the 29th minute when Georgios Samaras was tackled on the edge of the area by James McArthur and the ball broke to McDonald at the edge of the box to skip past the back three and fire past Cerny for Celtic's second.
Defender Richard Hastings ballooned a free-kick over the bar in reply, following a clash of heads between Celtic captain Stephen McManus and Mark McLaughlin.
Shortly before the interval, Hamilton were unlucky not to score when Marco Paixao's free-kick evaded the Celtic defence, but Zaluska cleared before Antoine-Curier could pounce.
Following the restart Zhi delivered a weak shot straight into the arms of Cerny.
A flurry of Celtic activity on the edge of Hamilton penalty area as the hour-mark approached led to a McGeady cross that McDonald failed to reach, then Maloney curved in a free-kick that shaved Cerny's right-hand post.
Zaluska reacted quickly to keep out a Mensing effort in the 70th minute, with Hamilton struggling to find a way through.
The Poland international was forced to parry a Jordan Kirkpatrick shot wide for a corner as the hosts picked up the pace in the final 10 minutes as they looked to reduce the deficit. They got their reward with seven minutes remaining when McArthur pounced on a Caldwell headed clearance to shoot from distance, and Antoine-Curier flicked the ball past the helpless Zaluska from four yards. McArthur could have snatched a point for Hamilton in the 88th minute when he went one-on-one with Zaluska after latching onto an Antoine-Curier nod, but a deft save by the Pole ensured Celtic secured maximum points.
Celtic manager Tony Mowbray:
"We got the three points. The players were under a little bit more pressure than normal, but we're now top of the table and they showed some good character and resilience.
"It's about picking up points. We got the points and a victory.
"The third goal in any game is crucial, and the bottom line was that we weren't really threatened too often.
"But that third goal gave them an ability to push on, and to be fair Lucas made a great save to prevent it going to 2-2.
"We would have been disappointed if we didn't take all three points today."
Hamilton manager Billy Reid:
"I thought we started well. The first 15 minutes we were slightly the better side.
"We had a game plan to be in Celtic's faces. We contained McGeady and Maloney really well, but we gave a silly goal away.
"We were punished for it, and at that stage, that's all the encouragement Celtic needed to go on from there.
"They scored another, and were in control at the time.
"But if you get the next goal, it's game on – and that was the case.
"Over the 90 minutes, i don't think anyone would have grudged us if we had taken a point from the game."
