At last a win that shouod have been coming long ago with all the domination we have in games.
Good result against a piss poor team, but still a win.
A few plus points in that we kept a clean sheet, Tierney done well, Siminovic looked decent and Commons kept his focus on the game and not the managent or playing to the fans.
(WBhoy of KDS)
Griffiths did superbly to rescue a lost cause and open the scoring. Think RD should also take a lot of credit after all the flak in midweek, clearly got his point across and showed all the players he will decide who plays, Commons subbed when on a hat trick. Like to see Cifti get a bit more game time to lead the line with Griffiths sitting deeper though.
Excellent from young Tierney….now let the bloody defence get a run of games and maybe we can settle down

By Chris McLaughlin BBC Scotland at Celtic Park
Kris Commons scored twice as Celtic dismantled struggling Dundee United to move four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Leigh Griffiths netted his 13th goal of the season from an acute angle before Dedryk Boyata knocked in a header.
Commons smashed home a penalty before the interval and then found the top corner with a great shot.
Scott Brown added to United's misery with a deflected strike in the closing minutes of a one-sided contest.
The comprehensive victory went some way to making up for Celtic's midweek Europa League loss in Molde.
Manager Ronny Deila admitted before kick off that the criticism that had come his way after a miserable return to his native Norway was justified but insisted his side would bounce back.
And the champions did so with ease as visiting keeper Luis Zwick was kept busy throughout.
Those who decided to forgo Sunday lunch for Celtic Park saw a home side that included Jozo Simunovic for just the second time this season.
The Croatian defender would have precious little to do though because from the first whistle United, who are five points adrift at the bottom, assumed defensive positions and rarely broke free.
Former United pair Gary MacKay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong were prominent as the hosts started with an impressive tempo.
And the breakthrough came on 15 minutes as Griffiths chased a ball down the right channel and, just when it looked like it would run out of play, the striker slid it expertly past a hesitant Zwick.

The second goal followed from the head of Boyata, who did well to lose his man in the box and bullet the ball home.
If there was any doubt about the game being over as a contest after that, Commons provided the clarity from the penalty spot just minutes before the break.
Scott Fraser brought down the hugely impressive Keiran Tierney and the man who was furious about being subbed in Norway was celebrating with the fans after blasting high past Zwick.
The second half started as the first ended, with Celtic in full flow and United pressed firmly against the ropes.
The visitors were on the canvas for a fourth time courtesy of a Commons cracker just before the hour.
The current fans' favourite found a yard of space just inside the penalty area and curled the ball expertly into Zwick's top right hand corner.
Kris Commons and manager Ronny Deila
Commons gets a firm handshake from manager Ronny Deila on being replaced
If the midfielder was making a point after the midweek spat with the Celtic bench, it was point proven.
He was substituted shortly afterwards but this time, instead of snarling in disgust, he applauded the fans and embraced his manager on the touchline. What a difference a few days and a few goals make.
Talking of goals, there was one more to come.
Celtic captain Scott Brown danced his way forward from the left with just minutes to go and his powerful strike on the angle was deflected into the net by Aaron Kuhl.

Celtic 5-0 Dundee United: Hoops ease pressure with emphatic victory

Scorer: Kris Commons found the net in the win at Parkhead.SNS Group
Kris Commons was the focal point of attention again as Celtic returned to domestic duties with a 5-0 thrashing of Dundee United at Parkhead.
The Hoops had lost 3-1 to Molde in the Europa League on Thursday night to leave them bottom of Group A but swept into the lead against the Premiership's bottom side with goals from striker Leigh Griffiths and defender Dedryck Boyata.
Commons, who issued an public apology for his reaction to being substituted in Norway, scored a penalty just before the interval and then grabbed a second in the 53rd minute before skipper Scott Brown scored with a deflected shot with a minute remaining.
Celtic went four points ahead of second-placed Aberdeen while United, with new boss Mixu Paatelianen in charge for the second game, left the pitch somewhat bedraggled.
After the misery in Molde, boss Ronny Deila changed and reshuffled his back four with summer signing Jozo Simunovic making only his second appearance and his home league debut after recovering from bone bruising.
Kieran Tierney, 18, came in at left-back and Efe Ambrose moved from central defence to right-back with Mikael Lustig and Emilio Izaguirre dropping out as did midfielder Nir Bitton, replaced by Gary Mackay-Steven.
Carlton Cole, the 31-year-old former West Ham striker who signed for the Hoops until 2017 on Thursday, was introduced to the crowd before the match.
He then took his seat in the stand and watched his new team dominate completely.
Early efforts from Commons, given a huge cheer by Celtic fans when his name was read out before the match, and former United midfielder Stuart Armstrong, set the tone.
Both players then had shots saved by United keeper Luis Zwick before Simunovic sent a drive inches wide of the far post.
The United keeper, however, did not look too clever at Griffiths' goal when coming off his line to cut out Brown's through ball.
The Scotland striker nipped in front of him and from the tightest of angles turned the ball into the net with a neat finish for his 13th of the season.
The goal did nothing to change the pattern of the game.
The visitors showed no real desire to get forward.
Griffiths forced a save from Zwick with a long-range drive but five minutes before the interval the keeper had no chance when Boyata powered in a close-range header from an Armstrong free-kick.
And just before the break Tierney's run into the box was halted by Scott Fraser allowing Commons to scored the penalty awarded by referee Craig Thomson, to loud cheers.
Seconds after the restart Zwick pushed a 20-yard drive from Mackay-Steven on to the post before Armstrong slewed a shot wide from 10 yards.
The pattern of the match had been quickly re-established.
The fourth goal was inevitable and it came after United failed to deal properly with Commons' corner, the ball coming back out to him before he side-stepped John Rankin and hammered a shot high past Zwick.
The Tannadice keeper remained under steady pressure and made a fine save from Johansen's 25-yard pile driver and a drive from a similar distance from Simunovic.
In between, and with some symbolism and significance, Commons gave Deila a hug after being replaced by Tom Rogic as Griffiths came off for Nadir Ciftci.
The procession towards the United goal continued and in the 89th minute Brown skipped down the left flank and into the United box before knocking the ball in off Aaron Kuhl from a tight angle to complete a convincing win.
