Match Report
Celtic were disappointing in this match, they contributed little and went home with nothing to show for it.
Hibs had most of the pressure and for a long spell the Celtic most often in action was ‘keeper Pat Bonner, one particularly brave diving save at the feet of Bobby Thomson had the crowd cheering the ‘keeper.
It was an untidy match and referee Bob Valentine, had his hands full with five bookings to report at the end of the game.
Celtic had rearranged the team for this game and it had not seemed to pay off.
