Review
A few disappointments were Izzaguirre’s injury, not getting to see Bayo, Hayes inability to do anything right when he came on but more than anything WTF was that shampoo being played during the light show? AC/DC? Get that pish binned. No matter how loud it gets played it’s not going to sound any better.
Also what was with the fans constantly checking the Aberdeen score? The halfwits around me might as well have stayed at home for what little they would have seen of the game.
Hibs were crap and resorting to blatant thuggery helped by Thompson who gave them free reign to kick Celtic players – Think May thought kicking Celtic players might have worked as some attempt at a leveller – Fortunately despite that Celtic were too good.
Played some great pass and move football particularly in the first half despite the fact we did have a surprising (for Celtic Park) number of misplaced passes – Corners and free kick delivery still piss poor – It's really not that difficult ffs.
Our "done" Captain was excellent as was McGregor – Not as sharp as we should be upfront which reflected in the score being kept down.
Shocker in Izzy – Ridiculous yet again by the so called referee – These fecks are brazenly trying every trick in the book and allowing blatant assaults – The establishment hunnery is on full overdrive – The last thing they want is Celtic winning a Treble Treble and the opportunity for 10iar.
Good night all round as a family member (a genuine Good Guy) won the windfall.

The injuries continue to pile up for Celtic but, crucially for Brendan Rodgers’ side, so do the victories and clean sheets.
Goals from Ryan Christie and Oliver Burke secured a fifth straight Premiership win without conceding a goal since the winter break for the Scottish champions to maintain their six point lead at the top of the table.
The only negative aspect of the night for Celtic was the sight of Emilio Izaguirre being carried off on a stretcher in the closing stages, the Honduran left-back joining a lengthy injury list which is testing the strength in depth of Rodgers’ squad to the limit.
They still had more than enough to see off a Hibs side whose need for the certainty and fresh direction of a new manager is obvious.
Christie’s 10th goal of what is proving to be a hugely productive season for the attacking midfielder earned Celtic a half-time lead they certainly merited on the overall balance of play.
Yet Hibs could also take initially encouragement from an opening 45 minutes in which they showed plenty of ambition with a positive formation set out by caretaker boss Eddie May.
Ryan Gauld, operating just behind strikers Oli Shaw and Florian Kamberi, saw plenty of the ball. But despite some neat passages of play, the visitors were unable to trouble Scott Bain in the home goal.
Celtic, by contrast, carried a far more menacing edge to their work. Callum McGregor, remarkably making his 50th appearance of the season for club and country, was first to threaten for the champions when his shot was blocked by namesake Darren in the Hibs defence.
Scott Brown and Christie combined to forge a decent opening for Scott Sinclair but the winger’s shot was deflected narrowly wide of Ofir Marciano’s left hand post.
With Timothy Weah, Christie and Sinclair forming the advanced midfield trio behind central striker Burke, Celtic’s control of the contest steadily increased.
Christie was unfortunate to see a sweetly struck effort from 20 yards fly just wide, then Marciano was off his line sharply to block a close range shot from Weah who had been played in by McGregor’s fine through ball.
When Sinclair cut in from the left to curl a shot narrowly beyond Marciano’s left hand post, there was a growing sense that the breakthrough was coming. It duly arrived in the 24th minute.
Jeremy Toljan, making his first start for Celtic after an eye-catching debut as a substitute in Sunday’s win at St Johnstone, played a major role in the goal.

The on-loan Borussia Dortmund right-back advanced to play a neat one-two with Weah before cutting the ball back for Christie to steer a low right foot shot beyond Marciano’s left hand from around eight yards.
Hibs were presented with an opportunity to hit back almost immediately when McGregor was caught in possession by Kamberi who found Mark Milligan in space on the left of the penalty area.
But the Australian international lacked composure as he slashed his shot well wide of Bain’s right hand post.
Celtic skipper Brown appeared fortunate to escape a booking for a crunching foul on Vykintas Slivka in the 29th minute, a decision which Hibs found all the more contentious when referee Craig Thomson flourished his yellow card soon afterwards at Milligan for a similar challenge on Christie.
Dedryck Boyata, back at the heart of the Celtic defence after an injury absence, ensured his side went into the break ahead when he made a brilliantly timed penalty area interception to deny Shaw who had latched onto Sean Mackie’s fine through ball.
Hibs were forced into a change at the start of the second half, Mark McNulty replacing the injured Shaw. They found themselves under increasing pressure as Celtic resumed with intensity and purpose as they looked to make the game safe.
May made a second change, sending on Stevie Mallan for Gauld who had faded badly after his relatively promising start.
Celtic remained firmly on the front foot and Marciano made a stunning save to keep out Boyata’s thumping close range header from a Christie free-kick.
The relentless pursuit of a second goal by Rodgers’ men was finally rewarded in the 64th minute. Christie was the architect with a sumptuous through ball which set Burke free on the right hand side of the Hibs penalty area.
The on-loan West Brom man’s right foot shot took a deflection off Darren McGregor before looping over the helpless Marciano into the net.
McNulty had a chance to open his Hibs account and drag them back into contention when he burst through the middle of the Celtic defence but the on-loan Reading forward screwed his shot wastefully wide.
There was a sour note to the evening for Celtic when Izaguirre sustained his injury on the end of a foul from Darnell Johnson which might easily have earned the Hibs substitute more than the booking he received.
It was an incident which also denied Vakoun Bayo his debut for Celtic, the Ivory Coast striker having been ready to come on but then called back as Jonny Hayes instead replaced Izaguirre at left-back for the closing stages.

Celtic have still not conceded a goal in 2019 after easing aside Hibernian to maintain their six-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Ryan Christie's composed first-half touch-and-finish gave them the lead.
Christie then played in Oliver Burke to slash in a shot that struck Darren McGregor and looped over Ofir Marciano.
The victory was a sixth in a row in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers' side, stretching back to 29 December, when they lost to Rangers at Ibrox.
One disappointment for an injury-ravaged Celtic could be an injury to Emilio Izaguirre, who was carried off on a stretcher after a challenge with Darnell Johnson.
Managerless Hibs, meanwhile, slip to eighth place after a fourth defeat in five Premiership matches. The Easter Road side have now won just one of their last eight league games.

Given their recent record of just one defeat in 10, it would have been a major upset had Celtic stumbled, especially given Hibs' predicament with reluctant caretaker manager Eddie May calling the shots.
The league leaders looked assured throughout and were barely troubled by the Easter Road outfit, who worked hard but never really threatened.
Calum McGregor, Scott Sinclair and Burke all came close before the impressive Jeremy Toljan collected a wonderful Timothy Weah pass and cut back for Christie to finish on the angle.
Celtic's biggest problem could have been their own complacency and Mark Milligan almost capitalised when given a clear view on goal, but his effort was well wide of the target.
However there was a composure and class about Celtic. Scott Brown bossed the midfield, although the captain may have been fortunate to see only a yellow card for a nasty looking challenge on Milligan.
Celtic's second goal had a fair slice of fortune as Burke's shot took a wicked deflection, which deceived Marciano.
With the Europa League meeting with Valencia next week, the last thing Rodgers would have wanted to see was the sight of Izaguirre being carried off. The Honduran International in obvious pain.
There was never any real threat of Hibs battling their way back into the game as Celtic cruised to another three points to preserve their lead at the top of the table.

'Inevitable win for Rodgers' side' – analysis
The scoreline may show a 2-0 victory but the gap between the two sides was the length of the M8 motorway. There was an inevitability about the outcome from the opening whistle.
Dedryck Boyata cruised through the game on his return from injury, the energy of Calum McGregor caught the eye, and in Weah and Christie Celtic have two of the most exciting players in the country.
Hibernian lacked any spark, and although Marc McNulty showed a few nice touches when coming off the bench, much more will be required if he is to have a positive impact for the season run-in.
On this evidence, a top-six place looks a forlorn hope, and whenever a new manager comes in he will have a major job on his hands in trying to lift the spirits of both the players and fans.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers: "We managed the game very well. Just once or twice we were a bit loose with our passing and giving it away under pressure. But I thought we controlled the game.
"I think Emilio [Izaguirre] got away with that one. A very clumsy tackle and I think it scared him a wee bit but the medical team are telling me that they think he's probably just got away with it."
Hibs caretaker head coach Eddie May: "We can play better. We could have defended the two goals we lost a bit better but Celtic are a top-class team.
"They really stretch you, they test you physically and tactically. We tried to press from the front and had some success early on but Celtic imposed their style on us. We need to be braver on the ball."
