CELTIC v. PARTICK THISTLE – EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT (SEMI – FINAL ROUND). – Played last night on the University Recreation Grounds before a large turnout of spectators. About twenty minutes before the finish Ferguson, the Partick Thistle left wing forward, twisted his leg, and had to retire. Near the close of the game the “Celts” by a determined effort, scored. Nothing else was done. Result: – Celtic, 1 goal, Partick Thistle, 0 goals.
