This rare Old Firm snap includes legends such as Celtic's Patsy Gallagher and Rangers keeper Johnny Hempsey.
It was taken before an exhibition match played at Thistle Park, Inverness, on April 28, 1913 – a rare meeting of the two clubs outside of Glasgow.
The photograph is one of the oldest in the Daily Record's picture library.
It is included in one of this year's must-have Old Firm books – two history-spanning collections of more than 200 photos of each team.
The 1913 game, which was played in front a crowd of just 3000 ended in a 00 draw The 3000, 0-draw. following morning's Daily Record match report read: "Clever play was shown by both teams but Celtic had more of the play.
"McAtee, Jarvis and Gallagher put in pretty play but they were met by magnificent defence from Gordon, Logan, Ormonde and Muir.
"So keen was the Rangers' defence that the Celtic forwards could hardly get in a decent ha shot."
The photograph from the Highland clash also features Gers winger Alex Bennett, who played for the Parkhead club until leaving in 1908.
