Review
The Dutch team were much changed from the side that had faced Rangers in the European Cup quarter final earlier in the season. They also had to return to a further league game in Holland 24 hours after this game. Celtic started fast and gave the Dutch defenders no rest. Chalmers scored the best of the goals. Billy McNeill, Chalmers and Crerand all played well.
