Review
Celtic started well and Hibs were quite lethargic. Celtic were two goals up in 16 minutes, both from Chalmers. McNamee played well at centre half and was little troubled by a Hibernian attack. Both Chalmers goals came from a neat crosses from Gallacher. The first headed home and the second five minutes later from a shot. All the Celtic forwards then proceeded to pepper the Hibs goal and only poor shooting and the uprights saved Hibs from being overwhelmed. Charlie Gallacher was becoming master of the right wing and had a great day.
