Review
Celtic were ahead in the third minute, a goal made by Jimmy Johnstone and scored by Bobby Murdoch. On fifteen minutes they had doubled their advantage when Chalmers headed a free kick from Kennedy back across for Jinky to tap home. and three minutes later Chalmers added a third from a Clark pass. Three goals up in twenty minutes. Fallon was rarely troubled in the Celtic goal. Chalmers added a fourth inn the second half.
Jimmy Johnstone and Billy McNeill had excellent games for Celtic.
