- The team was announced just before kick off. Celtic were carrying a number of injuries following the tough game against Dunfermiline at the weekend which had seen Celtic lose 2-1.

Another hard game for the Bhoys who had to weather a storm of Aberdeen attacks in the first half. In the second they fought back but were unable to beat McGarr in the Aberdeen goal. An entertaining 0-0 game by all accounts..
