Review

A reshuffled side met Clyde at Celtic Park on the Wednesday night. The youngsters were complimented by the old heads of veterans Tommy Callaghan, Bertie Auld and Steve Chalmers. Vic Davidson and Lou Macari did themselves a power of good promoting their case for inclusion in the senior side. Evan Williams had a quiet debut but it was Clyde that opened the scoring with a high cross failing to be cut out and Staite heading home. That lead was short lived and Bertie Auld replied. Davidson and Macari combined for the second and the third was a solo effort by Macari.
