Review
Celtic win through to the tournament final in this game played at the Sydney cricket ground. Pat Stanton played sweeper behind twin centre halves MacDonald and Edvaldsson.
The first goal was made by a surging run down the wing by McGrain who crossed for Edvaldsson to head home. Murray Barnes equalised immediately for Australia who went ahead then with a goal by Peter Ollerton. Just before the half time whistle Conn crossed and Edvaldsson headec home to make it even at half time.
Paul Wilson scored the winner in the second half.
