The False Peace
The following articles appeared on the the front page and pages 2 and 3 of the Celtic View of April 8th 1992.
They follow the front page story of a week before – Celtic United – which reported on an EGM of shareholders. The battle line in the fight for Celtic were being drawn and the board were digging in ready for the fight a head. As well as outlining the political manoeuvring of the White/Kelly dynasty these stories illustrated perfectly how the Celtic View was used as a propaganda tool by a board increasingly under-fire from the grassroots support
