Big Jock did it twice, in 1966/67 – when the club won everything, including the European Cup – and 1968/69.
There was a wait until 2000/01 for Celtic to take the acclaim throughout the country when O’Neill, with the incomparable Henrik Larsson leading the way, picked up the Premier league title, the Scottish Cup and the League Cup.
Ironically, like Rodgers, the Northern Irishman was in his first season as Celtic manager.
