Review

In conjunction with the Cross County Championship, the ground club were without McKeown, McLaren, and McCallum, and Reynolds of Carfin, and Clark, of the Hibernians, assisted. The Harriers’ team was weakened by the Inter-City and other important contests. The game was splendidly contested and sustained with vigour to the close.

The Celtic showed the way, but Chalmers saved splendidly. At half-time no goals had been scored, but on crossing over the Clydesdale came away brilliantly. McGregor, Hector, and McKenzie each scored, and the game ended in defeat of the Celtic by 3 goals to 0.
