- This Glasgow Cup tie was, by arrangement, to have been played on Celtic Park, but when the teams were assembled on the field the Kelvinside Athletic scratched, and the game was therefore declared to be a friendly one.
Review
The Celts had no difficulty in disposing of Kelvinside Athletic by eleven goals to one.
