Review
These teams met yesterday at Celtic Park, Glasgow, in beautiful weather, before fully 10,000 spectators. It was too hot for good football. Sunderland lost the toss and kicked off against the sun. Celtic pressed, and, after five minutes' hard work, succeeded in beating the visiting custodian. Even play followed, but just before half-time Campbell equalised. In the second half the visitors had the best of the game during the early stages, but Celtic kept their goal intact, and towards the end caused their opponents some trouble. Nothing further was scored, however, and the game ended in a draw of one goal each.
