- Some reports credit Doyle as scoring Celtic’s 4th goal from a free kick but direct free kicks were not introduced until 1903. The included report indicates that the Clyde goalkeeper (Henderson) “made a bad attempt to save” Doyle’s free kick. On that basis, Henderson is credited with an Own Goal.
