Alterations and Improvements.
At Cathkin Celtic had to find substitutes for Dodds, Brown – and Gallagher. By introducing Watson, and allotting new places to Cassidy, McAtee and McLean a well-balanced and winning team was assorted. Even against the elements there was danger in every move of the new frontal combinations, and Brownlie saved many times before he was beaten by McLean and McInally. There were always possibilities of a goal against Shaw so long as Flannigan kept eluding Cassidy and wound up with tempting centres. One of these was turned to account, but it merely served to make the better team bestir itself, and in effortless fashion two more goals were debited against Brownlie.
