Match report from The Scotsman, 15th March 1920
[…] Both the Queen's Park and the Celtic had representatives in the International match at Celtic Park that necessitated changes for the game at Hampden. The home team had A. Smith Anderson deputising for A. L. Morton, and the visitors McStay for McNair, McKay for Gallagher, and Cassidy for McMenemy. The Queen's pressed at the start, and had the better of the exchanges in the first half, but feeble finishing prevented them making good their advantage. The Celtic opened the scoring through McKay, but Fyfe equalised just on half-time. The Celtic had more of the game after the resumption, and after half an hour's play Cassidy gave them the lead. There was no further scoring. Weak finishing was apparent on both sides, and many chances were missed. The attendance would be about 25,000.
