Match report from The Scotsman, 21st April 1921
[…] At Parkhead, Glasgow, last night, 4000 spectators witnessed an interesting League game between Celtic and Clydebank. In the first half Clydebank gave a splendid display, and Celtic were almost continually kept on the defensive. After thirty-five minutes play Harvie sent in a great drive, and McNair fisted out with Shaw well beaten. From the penalty award McLavin gave Clydebank the lead. In the second half Gallagher went into centre for Celtic, and a big improvement was shown in their play. Ferguson and Stevenson put up a great defence, but fifteen minutes from the finish Celtic were awarded a penalty, from which McKay equalised.
