CELTIC DEFEATED AT PAISLEY
St Mirren gave a convincing display against celtic at Paisley last night, and a well-taken goal by the centre-forward, Walker, won the game forthe Love Street men. Both teams began in dashing fashion, and Celtic were most dangerous for atime, till ST. Mirren's defence found their feet. WHile there were plenty of thirlls, the interval arrived with the score sheet blank. Early in the second half Walker got his head on a nice ball from Thomson, and put it beyond Shaw's reach. It was quite a good game, ending in thrills. After St Mirren had scored there was no holding them, and they forced corner after corner, without adding to their score. The Paisley men, who were without Lawson, their international forward, thoroughly deserved their victory. The attendance was about 8000.
