Legendary custodian with 115 caps for Scotland. Signed for Celtic in 2009 after a career which began at St. Johnstone Girls FC and took in Aberdeen, Ayr United, two spells with Hibs and stints in England with Brighton and Leeds. Made her international debut in a 1-1 draw with the Czech Republic on 24 May 1998, while still a pupil at Perth Academy. Supports St Johnstone.
Scotland U19 cap signed from Kilmarnock in 2009.

Defenders
2: Lauren Macmillan, Scotland (Born 27 January 1989)
Left-back who joined from Queen’s Park in 2008 after starting off at Baillieston Girls. Also represented Scotland U17s and U19s.
3: Julie Ferguson, Scotland (Born 10 February 1979, Glasgow)
Seasoned performer with 35 Scotland caps. Made her name as a forward with Maryhill Eagles, Glasgow City and Hibernian but has slotted in at right-back since joining Celtic in 2008. In 2002 went on a ‘soccer’ scholarship to Atlantic University, Florida where she recieved a fractured eye socket which brought on epilepsy. Later collapsed during a match in Scotland, only to be accused of ‘doing a Vitor Baia’ by the other team! Works as an internet search engine specialist.
4: Amy McDonald, Scotland (Born 17 October 1985, Rutherglen)
Redoubtable and versatile defender/midfielder signed from Kilmarnock in 2009. Has 30 caps for Scotland and was four years at Killie, before which she turned out for Queen’s Park and Hamilton Accies. Took over the captaincy from ex-Kille team-mate Bisland upon joining.
5: Karen Penglase, Scotland (Born 10 August 1982)
Experienced former internationalist whose talents are put to use at centre-half. Played for Stenhousemuir, Cumbernauld, Ayr United and Hamilton Academical and was semi-pro with Icelandic outfit Grindavik in 2002. Actually scored against Celtic in the club’s first ever league match in August 2007, while playing up front for Hamilton Accies.
14: Jacqui Seagrave, Scotland (Born 1990)
One of the originals who had been playing for Arsenal North when they became Celtic Ladies in 2007. A defender from Clydebank and a student at Strathclyde University. Went to Brazil in 2006, after her and two pals won the UK leg of the ‘Joga Bonita’ 3-a-side tournament.
55: Tracy Burns, Scotland (Born 18 January 1977, Irvine)
Sturdy and dependable 5′ 7” centre-half signed in 2009 after a long and distinguished career with Kilmarnock Ladies.

Scotland U16, U17 cap from East Kilbride, signed this season after progressing through the Hamilton Accies youth setup.

Another bright prospect from the Celtic girls’ academy stable. Capped by Scotland at U17 level.
Midfielders
6: Jo Love, Scotland (Born 6 December 1985, Paisley)
Star attacking midfielder with an eye for goal and 91 caps for Scotland. Made her international debut v. Canada in 2002 and already closing in on the 100 cap milestone aged just 24. Signed at the club’s foundation in 2007 after a season in England with John Buckley‘s Doncaster Belles, which followed six years with Kilmarnock and a formative spell at Largs. Allegedly a blue-nose given to “mhanky mob” patter.
7: Becky Bisland (née Stokes), England/ Ireland (Born 20 June 1982, London)
London-born winger/forward capped by the Republic of Ireland and another ex-Kilmarnock player. A graduate of John Moores University who previously played with leading English clubs Fulham and Charlton Athletic, then got a job as an active schools co-ordinator in Scotland. Spent two seasons with Killie before joining Celtic in 2007 and captained the side until the arrival of Amy McDonald. Appeared for Ireland in a 2-1 defeat in Wales on 24 April 2007, replacing Stef Curtis for the last half an hour.
8: Julia Scott (née Ralph), Scotland (Born 27 November 1982, Nairn)
Skilful midfielder who is also an accomplished ballerina. She started playing with Nairn boys club then featured for Elgin and Lossiemouth Ladies. Won Scotland recognition at U17, U19 and full level and spent 18 months with Hibs Ladies while at Napier University. Graduated in 2004 and accepted a scholarship to Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. After a successful season playing varsity ‘soccer’ she was signed by Toronto Lynx for their 2005 campaign in North America’s semi-pro W-League. Returned to finish 05/06 with Aberdeen Ladies and it was from here that she joined Celtic in 2008. Works as a PE teacher in Inverness.
15: Rebecca Storrie, Scotland (Born 17 July 1993)
Midfield prospect and Scotland U17 cap. Drafted into the first team squad this season after coming through the girls’ academy.
16: Christie Murray, Scotland (Born 3 May 1990)
Outrageously talented left-sided midfielder from Bargeddie. Played for Baillieston Girls, Carson Newman College and Queen’s Park before being snapped up by Celtic in 2007. She had earlier been the Celtic mens’ club mascot for a match against Hearts. Is a student on a sports scholarship at Stirling University and has represented Scotland at U15, U17, U19 and full level. Her Scotland debut came in a 3-0 win over New Zealand in Cyprus on 1 March 2010, as she replaced veteran former-Celt Pauline Hammill for the last seven minutes.
17: Maddy Fulton, Scotland (Born 17 July 1994)
Scotland U15, U16 and U17 player from Paisley promoted from the academy system into the first team aged just 15. Full name Mairead and a pupil at St. Andrew’s Academy.
21: Lorna Harkins, Scotland
Versatile performer spotted by Dundee United playing for Tayside University in February 2008. Valued by United but moved back west after graduating. Seemed set for Hamilton Accies until Celtic made a shock swoop ahead of the 2010 season. Provides cover and squad depth.
23: Emma Woolley, England (Born 1989?, Sheffield)
A classy winger. Debuted for Sheffield Wednesday aged 15, then won a scholarship at top US University side Bridgeport Purple Knights. Posted a new club record for assists in four years stateside then signed for Celtic in 2010.
