Biog
A left-sided forward who signed for Celtic Boy's Club at 14 from Renfrew Waverley. He was taken on by the club in 1985 after featuring in BP Youth Cup games in 1984/85.
Released in 1987, Feeney spent a year in St. Mirren's reserve team before signing for East Sirlingshire and becoming a regular in the old Second Division. By his second season with the Shire his appearances increasingly came from the bench and he had left by 1990/91.
He later popped up at Arbroath in 1993/94, hitting two goals on his debut – a 3-2 defeat to Forfar on 5 March 1994. No more goals in seven further appearances saw him depart for Carnoustie Panmure Juniors in summer 1994.
