Giuliano Sarti: goalkeeper went on to run a business in Florence; retired.
Tarcisio Burgnich: a scout for Inter.
Giacinto Facchetti: Inter Milan's Captain – died in 2006 from cancer – Inter retired the No 3 shirt in his honour.It says a great deal about the "Class" that Billy McNeill has and the respect he had for Facchetti that he took the time to fly over to Milan at his own expense for Giacinto's Funeral.
Armando Picchi: died aged 36 of a tumour of the spinal column, with his native Livorno naming their stadium after him.
Aristide Guarneri: a scout for the club, he was hailed as a hero last year after saving a girl from a would-be sex attacker in his home town, Cremona.
Gianfranco Bedin: scout for Inter.
Mauro Bicicli: died in 2001.
Angelo Domenghini: scout for Inter.
Sandro Mazzola: works as a television commentator.
Mario Corso: went on to coach the Inter reserve team and now scouts for the club.
Renato Cappellini: vanished from the game after 1967.
